The Grade 11B class assembly , themed “Evolution of Indian Television,” offered a poignant look at the medium’s journey and its shifting impact on society. The presentation opened with a nostalgic tribute to the Doordarshan era, using dramatizations of iconic broadcasts like Mahabharat and vintage advertisements to illustrate a time when television was a communal experience that fostered family togetherness. This stood in stark contrast to the second half of the program, which depicted how modern lifestyles and personal devices have transitioned us toward isolated viewing and reduced social interaction. The assembly encouraged the audience to contemplate how evolving technology continues to reshape our shared cultural values.
