Climate Clock, 2024

At NPS HSR, the unveiling of the Climate Clock marked a significant step toward environmental responsibility. This student-led initiative inspires action and fosters a sustainable mindset within our school community.

Students across grades engaged in a variety of meaningful activities inspired by the Climate Clock’s message. Grades 1 and 2 created seed bombs, while Grade 3 embraced plant adoption and Grade 4 crafted eco-friendly planters. Grade 5 added a creative touch by decorating reusable grocery bags. Grade 6 extended the seed bomb initiative to rejuvenate Bangalore’s lakebeds, Grade 7 designed presentations to raise awareness within the school community, and Grade 8 spearheaded an e-waste recycling drive. A school-wide food audit further emphasized the importance of reducing food wastage, uniting all grades in the shared mission of sustainability.
