NPS HSR Champions at Greenwood Junior Champions Basketball Tournament

Congratulations to the team for securing first place in the Greenwood Junior Champions Trophy Basketball Tournament! Hosted by Greenwood High between January 29 and 31, the team displayed exceptional cohesion, seamlessly coordinating plays and supporting each other to secure a well-deserved victory. A special shoutout to Avyam and Daiwik for their outstanding performance which won them the Best Players Awards and the school is proud of the team’s achievements.

Ketam Jha Wins 1st Place at TOSC

We are proud to announce that Ketam Jha of Class 9B secured 1st place in IIT Kanpur’s prestigious annual fest Techkriti Open School Championship (TOSC). Competing against 17,500 students nationwide, Ketam showcased outstanding skills to earn a gold medal and certificate of merit, presented by esteemed scientist Dr. V. Adimurthy. Congratulations to Ketam for this incredible achievement.

DOPA RUSH NEET-UG Quiz

Congratulations to our team, Gautam and Aathreya of 12A, for winning first place in the DOPA RUSH NEET-UG quiz organized by Bangalore Medical College. They excelled in a challenging online round, competing with over 100 participants to qualify among the top 20 and move on to the semifinals held on campus. From there, they advanced to the final four, where they came out on top, securing the first prize winning a well deserved cash prize. Well done, Gautam and Aathreya and the school wishes for many more laurels coming your way.

South Zone National Volleyball Championship

In a stellar display of talent at the South Zone National Volleyball Championship, organized by the Pondicherry Volleyball Association, our teams emerged triumphant, clinching 1st place in U17 Boys and Girls, and U15 Boys. The championship stretching across three days from October 9 to 11 had 5 states being represented.

Adding to the glory, we secured 2nd place in U13- Girls and Boys category and U11, Boys category and 3rd in U15, along with a cascade of individual accolades, including Best Setter, Best All-Rounder, and Best Attacker awards—an unforgettable triumph that truly showcases our champions' prowess! The crowning jewel was Mr. Karthik receiving the Best Coach Award, a testament to the passion and excellence driving our champions to victory!

Espirit De Corps – Volleyball

NPS INR hosted the Espirit De Corps Volleyball Championship for grades 8 and 9 on 09 September 2024. The players displayed excellent teamwork, serving and rallying with skill to secure second place in a closely contested battle on the court. The players lived upto the motto of Espirit De Corp events about collaboration and the spirit of participation, making such competitions truly commendable.

Espirit De Corps – Sudoku Competition

Students from grades 5 and 6 showcased their problem-solving skills in the Espirit De Corps Sudoku Competition held at NPS INR on 10 September 2024.

In a stimulating and enjoyable battle of logic and reasoning, the participants Reyansh Sharma and Preran of 6B, focused and thought strategically, winning the first and second place.

Founders Trophy – Basketball (Under Grade 8)

In a thrilling, nail-biting match that highlighted both sportsmanship and camaraderie, the boys' and girls’ basketball teams of NPS HSR (Under Grade 8) emerged victorious. The event, hosted by NPS HSR on 13 September 2024, saw enthusiastic participation from across the NPS group of schools. TISB VIVUM Sports

The tennis and volleyball teams from NPS HSR had a spectacular run at TISB’s Vivum Sports Competitions held on 13 August, 2024. Madhav Dixit- 11C, Nihaar Suresh Kumar and Aditya Narayanan-11A won the first prize in Tennis and our girls team emerged as runners up in Volleyball. The team comprised:

Union Bank of India – U Genius Quiz 3.0

Our talented team, Aditya Kathait, 11B and Dasmat Ajmani of 10C, proudly advanced to the finals of the prestigious Union Bank U Genius Quiz, earning a well-deserved finalist trophy. This challenging city round for Bengaluru drew participation from schools across the city.

The competition began with a rigorous written preliminary round, from which only six teams qualified for the finals. Similar city rounds have already taken place in Kozhikode, Ernakulam, Hyderabad, and other locations. Our boys distinguished themselves by securing the position of joint 2nd runners-up alongside another school.

World Robot Olympiad

Udhbav Vasudevan of 9D made the school proud by securing the coveted second prize in the regional round of the World Robot Olympiad held on 14 July 2024 at DPS North. Udhbav’s model, a robot called Ecobot, aligned with the theme “Earth and its Allies.” The robot is designed for gardening, equipped with built-in tools and implements. This win ensures Udhbav a place in the nationals to be held in Delhi in October 2024.

IRIS Inter school fest

The hard work and training truly paid off for our contingent, which participated in a multitude of events at IRIS, the NPS Kormangala Inter-School Fest held on July 26, 2024. Our teams drawn from grades 11 and 12 clinched first place in a variety of events:-

Emporia represented by Saanvi Mehrotra, Nikita K; Enigma comprising Deeptarka, Arya Jain, Amod Bhat, Kavya S; Innovatex that had Ashwathi Anil, Akshar Damodar, Akanksha; Lyrical Labyrinth which had Jatin, Goutham R, Prithvi Reddy, Laya Tarang represented by Harini, Netra, Sohani,Aarya, Aadrita.

They also secured second place in Pranit's Pagal Production, Theatre acted by Aashi, Bharat Nair, Elena, Twisha, Shreya nayak; Sruti Swara& Raga, Music which had the band comprising Raj, Pradyumn, Srindhi, Navdha, and Catch Me If You Can represented by Ansh, Yashwanth, Krish Sameer, along with a special mention in Hospitium Magnus that had Daksh and Jaimie.

These outstanding achievements led our school to win the overall trophy. The school congratulates all participants on their commendable performance.

Play Act Fantasia – Once upon a stage

19 July 2024 was a red letter day as our talented team did the school proud by winning the Plot and Twist segment of the competition. NAFL organized a theatre with music and band event called Play Act Fantasia once upon a stage and our students Dharshita Jai Prakash and Adya Kaushik 12 A, Bharat 12 C, Elena Kaiser 11 D, Monasrita Reddy and Muskan Bhargava 11 C, Jatin Aditya and Anaika Narula of 11B staged a spectacular show and were a cut above the rest.

Helios – NPS Koramangala Coding Event

Our students got their algorithms perfectly right by debugging all the issues and won the Helios Coding Competition hosted by NPS Koramangala. The event held on 19 July 2024 saw many teams vying with each other and our team comprising Ansh Bhatnagar of 12A, Meghana Pynadath of 10D and Pranjal Jain of 9D came up trumps pipping other participants at the post.

Vice Chairman’s Cup - Basketball

In the Vice Chairman’s Cup organized by TTA, the training academy of NPS group of institutions held on 6 April 2024, the grade 10 boys came first in the Basketball tournament. The dedication of the team comprising Aayush Gupta, Johan J Manthara, Mukul Girish, Samrath S Dhingara, Sarvesh Kulkarni, Aayussman Singh, Avdhoot Gupta, Srihari Sriram, Yash Fadnavis and Shaurya Gupta shone on the court with their blistering passes and dribbles to basket well. Congratulations to the team on the amazing victory.
