NPS HSR played host for the 2024 edition of under Grade 11 Founders Trophy - Volleyball on 29 and 30 August 2024. It was an exhilarating show of spirited competition igniting the spirit of volleyball, with 8 schools coming together to serve, set, block and spike their way in the league cum knock out matches.
In the boys’ category, there was a intense see-saw battle between TISB and NPS KRM with TISB edging out NPS KRM in a nail biting finish. The girls’ category saw NPS KRM locking horns with NPS HSR in the finals with the home team striking gold. Muskaan Bhargava of NPS HSR and Abhay Manjunatha of NPS I Mysore wond the best player in the girls and Boys Categories respectively.
The matches demonstrated steadfast commitment to excellence and played a vital role in fostering an atmosphere of camaraderie and unforgettable memories being created.
Our talented team, Aditya Kathait, 11B and Dasmat Ajmani of 10C, proudly advanced to the finals of the prestigious Union Bank U Genius Quiz, earning a well-deserved finalist trophy. This challenging city round for Bengaluru drew participation from schools across the city.
The competition began with a rigorous written preliminary round, from which only six teams qualified for the finals. Similar city rounds have already taken place in Kozhikode, Ernakulam, Hyderabad, and other locations. Our boys distinguished themselves by securing the position of joint 2nd runners-up alongside another school.
Niharika R of Grade 10C has shone brilliantly at the 5th Karnatak Yogasana Sports Championship, held in Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka on the 17th and 18th of August, 2024. In the Junior Girls category, Niharika’s exceptional prowess and unwavering dedication have earned her an astounding four gold medals. Her remarkable achievement not only brings immense pride to our school but also paves her way to represent at the prestigious national stage.
Udhbav Vasudevan of 9D made the school proud by securing the coveted second prize in the regional round of the World Robot Olympiad held on 14 July 2024 at DPS North. Udhbav’s model, a robot called Ecobot, aligned with the theme “Earth and its Allies.” The robot is designed for gardening, equipped with built-in tools and implements. This win ensures Udhbav a place in the nationals to be held in Delhi in October 2024.
The SOF is a renowned educational organization dedicated to fostering competitive spirit and academic excellence among school children. Aarush Pandey of Grade 11A has put the school on the world map with his historical show in SOF Social Science with an incredible international rank first rank. The performance has earned him a Gold medal, certificate and a cash prize.
The hard work and training truly paid off for our contingent, which participated in a multitude of events at IRIS, the NPS Kormangala Inter-School Fest held on July 26, 2024. Our teams drawn from grades 11 and 12 clinched first place in a variety of events:-
Emporia represented by Saanvi Mehrotra, Nikita K; Enigma comprising Deeptarka, Arya Jain, Amod Bhat, Kavya S; Innovatex that had Ashwathi Anil, Akshar Damodar, Akanksha; Lyrical Labyrinth which had Jatin, Goutham R, Prithvi Reddy, Laya Tarang represented by Harini, Netra, Sohani,Aarya, Aadrita.
They also secured second place in Pranit's Pagal Production, Theatre acted by Aashi, Bharat Nair, Elena, Twisha, Shreya nayak; Sruti Swara& Raga, Music which had the band comprising Raj, Pradyumn, Srindhi, Navdha, and Catch Me If You Can represented by Ansh, Yashwanth, Krish Sameer, along with a special mention in Hospitium Magnus that had Daksh and Jaimie.
These outstanding achievements led our school to win the overall trophy. The school congratulates all participants on their commendable performance.

19 July 2024 was a red letter day as our talented team did the school proud by winning the Plot and Twist segment of the competition. NAFL organized a theatre with music and band event called Play Act Fantasia once upon a stage and our students Dharshita Jai Prakash and Adya Kaushik 12 A, Bharat 12 C, Elena Kaiser 11 D, Monasrita Reddy and Muskan Bhargava 11 C, Jatin Aditya and Anaika Narula of 11B staged a spectacular show and were a cut above the rest.

In the AC MUN 2024, held on 12th and 13th July, our team tackled the crises riddling our world with meaningful deliberation to win the Best Delegation Award. The list of winners included Honourable Delegate- Suhani Bhuwania, Commendable Delegate- Mukund Jagannath, Outstanding Delegate- Aahan Bharadwaj and Anaga Anil drawn from grades 9 to 12. Hearty congratulations to the team on their stupendous achievement.
Our students got their algorithms perfectly right by debugging all the issues and won the Helios Coding Competition hosted by NPS Koramangala. The event held on 19 July 2024 saw many teams vying with each other and our team comprising Ansh Bhatnagar of 12A, Meghana Pynadath of 10D and Pranjal Jain of 9D came up trumps pipping other participants at the post.

Aadya Srinivasan from class 5 and Prakyath K P from grade 9 were in a league of their own excelling in the Espirit De Corps Swimming Challenge held on July 6, 2024. Organized by TTA, the competition featured various events. Aadya Srinivasan won Silver medals in Breaststroke, Freestyle, and Backstroke, while Prakyath K P was second to none in the Butterfly event, earning a Gold medal. The school is proud of their achievements and wishes them continued success.
Pranshu Goel of NPS HSR secured an impressive rank of 111 in the CET Examinations. We congratulate Pranshu on his spectacular achievement and wish him success in all his future endeavours.
NPS HSR is proud of the stellar performance of Aathreya Venkatachalam of grade 12A in the brain bee contest organized by Amrita Hospital along with the Kerala Association of Neurologists held on 18 and 19 May 2024. The competition had a regional round with thirty participants and Aathreya’s dedication and hard work clearly paid off as he secured a berth in the national stage. At the national level, he overcame stiff competition to emerge as the first runner up. His exceptional skills have set a remarkable example for his peers. The school wishes Aathreya on his stupendous achievement and to strive for greater excellence in the future.
In the Vice Chairman’s Cup organized by TTA, the training academy of NPS group of institutions held on 6 April 2024, the grade 10 boys came first in the Basketball tournament. The dedication of the team comprising Aayush Gupta, Johan J Manthara, Mukul Girish, Samrath S Dhingara, Sarvesh Kulkarni, Aayussman Singh, Avdhoot Gupta, Srihari Sriram, Yash Fadnavis and Shaurya Gupta shone on the court with their blistering passes and dribbles to basket well. Congratulations to the team on the amazing victory.
