As part of the Career Conversations initiative on developing life skills, students of Grade 10 had the opportunity to engage in a thought-provoking session with Mr. Sanjay Gopinath on “How Smart People Think.”

In the session held on 1st September, Mr. Gopinath emphasized that true thinking begins when one learns to pause and wonder. He illustrated this powerful idea — Pause + Wonder = Think , through a simple yet meaningful hands-on activity. Each student was asked to create a tent card, take a quiet moment to pause, and allow a thought or reflection to emerge. They then captured this spark of wonder in writing on their tent card.

The session left students with a lasting takeaway: smart thinking is not about quick answers, but about pausing, wondering, and allowing the mind to process before it creates.
