For me, approaching 10th grade meant focusing on one exam at a time. It was essential not to worry too far ahead and just give 100% in each internal school exam. The school ensures that your internal exam prep is more than enough for your boards.
Secondly,Staying calm during preparation and exams was crucial and not letting stress get to you. This is easier said than done, but it is important to understand that stress does no good for your confidence and mental health.
Thirdly, maintaining balance is crucial; studying for 3-4 hours straight never worked for me. I maintained contact with the outside world by walking my dog for at least 40 minutes every day, ensuring a sense of balance.
My school teachers played a vital role, providing guidance, advice, and answering all my doubts. I was lucky to have a supportive family who did not put much pressure on me and ensured I was free of any apprehension before the tests. Doing previous year papers and mock tests proved immensely helpful.
To summarize, maintaining a balance, keeping calm and doing plenty of previous years questions helped me score well in the board exams.
