A Celebration of Colourful Crunch: Our School's ‘Fabulous Fruits & Veggies’ Event - Arogya!

GMC recently embarked on a colourful and educational journey through the world of fruits and vegetables. Our young learners transformed into budding nutritionists as they explored the wonders of these natural treasures.

The show-and-tell event was a vibrant celebration of healthy eating. Each child brought in their favourite fruit or vegetable and came to school dressed as their chosen produce, eager to share their knowledge with their classmates. From the bright red apple to the crunchy carrot, a diverse array of produce filled our classroom.

With enthusiastic curiosity, the children described the appearance, taste, and texture of their chosen item. They learned about the different parts of the plant, from roots to leaves, and discovered the vital nutrients hidden within.

This show and tell Arogya experience has sparked a newfound appreciation for fruits and vegetables among our young learners. Each child's presentation sparked lively discussions among their peers and teachers, fostering early understandings of nutrition and the importance of eating a rainbow of fruits and vegetables for a healthy body and mind. Our little ones were amazed to find out how fruits and vegetables help us grow strong, healthy bodies.
