Learning Beyond the Classroom: A Visit to the Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka

Students of Grade 11 Commerce and Humanities, along with selected Science students, visited the Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka for an enriching two-hour educational experience. The visit offered a fascinating glimpse into the world of law and justice, beginning with a tour of the Court Museum and its rich collection of legal artefacts and history. Students also explored the impressive library, home to an extensive collection of law books and legal resources.

The most enriching part of the visit was observing live proceedings in the courtroom, as students gained firsthand insight into cases ranging from inheritance disputes and accident negligence to allegations of evidence tampering.

The experience enabled students to connect classroom concepts with real-world legal processes and appreciate the rigour of judicial proceedings.
